Half Marathon Ident for BBVA Mexico

Creating video content for bank employees with only seconds to capture their attention. How to create a dynamic intro that stands out and hooks them from the start?

BBVA Mexico is the main sponsor to one of the biggest sports events in Mexico.

Because of that, this ident was going to be accessible via an internal communications platform to more than 40K BBVA employees. The goal was to create a dynamic and eye-catching intro for an event coverage video of the Mexico City Half Marathon that would stand apart from other internal videos and comms.

I came up with the idea of turning the medal ribbon into strands that would cover a running human figure. With that in mind, I used C4D for the 3D motion and After Effects to overlay key text phrases onto the live footage.
